As a social media coordinator for Shepherd's Gate Church, I have helped increase engagement rate, following and reach. I've created, scheduled and audited content for all social media channels.
The most fun and engaging project I coordinate with Shepherd's Gate was a video promoting the current sermon series. The message for the upcoming Sunday was related to "pausing" and taking time to rest. I gathered two of the pastors for a fun take on the video, and the members loved it!
As a social media intern for Kibo Group International in 2018, I learned how to write succinct Facebook posts using content provided toupdate partners and donors of the organization what Kibo staff were doing on the grounds halfway across the world. I also served as the Kibo Corner (a Kibo coffee shop) social media manager from 2018-19, for which I curated and managed all photos and social media posts.
While the members of Shepherd's Gate Church are predominately on Facebook alone, I have helped increase the following and engagement rate on the Instagram account. Through social media audits, I have been able to analyze and learn the preferences and behaviors of both our audience and potential church members.
